A Shared Experience
One of the most important parts of a UWC experience is that of students from as many as 80 countries live and work together, forming a mini United Nations. International understanding is promoted not only via the classroom, but inherently, when you share rooms, meals, study and social time with others from around the globe. The bustling campuses are evidence of the fun activities, forged friendships, steep learning and diversity discovered by UWC students.
International affairs and conflict resolution programmes are also an important part of the UWC experience, and you will get to know the local language and culture through a focus on your College’s host region. Cultural activities – arts, crafts, music and drama – are always an essential part of UWC life, and one of the most anticipated.
