Community service – a vital feature of every UWC experience – enables you to learn about yourself and develop a sense of responsibility towards others and the bigger world.

Service projects, whether tailored to fit local needs or working further afield, are often student-led and can include sea and wilderness rescue and fire fighting services; literacy, health and social welfare projects; rural development and environmental programmes; and work with refugee or immigrant communities.

By working together with the College community, the local community as well as other organisations, you will find ways in which you can make a difference to the lives of others while developing skills and knowledge for the betterment of the future.
