The UWC Need-Based Scholarship for Singaporean Students

Each year, the National Committee of Singapore offers need-based scholarships to Singaporean students to complete the two-year IB Diploma at an overseas United World College. This is equivalent to completing the 'A' Levels at a Junior College in Singapore.

Each UWC scholarship is:

  • Awarded based on a student's personal merit and financial need

  • Tenable for a 2 year International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme

  • GCE 'A' Levels equivalent

  • Recognised by the Ministry of Education

  • Recognised by Singaporean Universities and Overseas Universities

  • Covers food, accommodation, textbooks and school fees during term time (based on financial need)

  • Bond-free

*Airfare, travel and other personal and miscellaneous expenses are not included in the scholarships.
